I have had a love of writing ever since I can remember. I thought it came naturally to everyone. But when teachers started recognizing and calling out my writing, I realized it was a skill that I could cultivate and share. I have been writing professionally for more than 35 years, starting as a journalist after earning my master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
My writing skills have expanded to include speeches, crisis messaging, internal communication, letters (from corporate to personal), op-eds, website, social media, video script writing and more. Pretty much, whatever you need written or re-written, I can handle. I’m not a “content producer.” I am an old school writer who listens to your voice. I craft personal, impactful, well written communication that reflects your style and goals.
One of my strongest skills is taking complicated information and simplifying it without compromising the integrity of your message. I’m also good at finding the words for awkward personal situations. Need to tell an online suitor you’re not interested or extend an olive branch to adult stepchildren? I can help you.
Let’s talk about what you need and I will work with you to find the words to say exactly what you want to say, in a way that’s comfortable and empowering for you.
